It's that time of year again, the leaves have turned and fallen to the ground and the Rotary Club of Freeport has begun its annual Turkey Drive.
This year we are planning to, once again, donate 100 Turkeys to the Freeport Community Center's food pantry. The turkey drive helps fill the Thanksgiving Food Baskets donated to Freeport, Pownal and Durham families facing food insecurity.

Our task is a bit harder this year, with the costs of food rising and staying higher than usual, Turkeys are costing anywhere from $7-15 dollars more each, (depending on the size), than they did last year. As a result we are increasing our fundraising to help cover the extra costs of the turkeys.

Please share this information with your family and friends and help us to reach our 100 turkey goal! If you would like to make a donation, please contact Matt Cartmell @ 207-522-8084
